I think it's going to be April 21st.So when do they air Episode 3?
For real....
BOT: So Zuko's mom is going to be explained THIS season?! SQUEE!
That does make more sense. MYSTERY OVER!Jet's dead. They had to not make it graphic due to executive meddling, which ended up making it appear kind of ambiguous.
Oooooooh, blood-bending. I wonder if that'll come into the series. Hopefully as a last resort. If Katara had bothered to teach korra the art of waterbending people/blood she wouldn't have gotten in such a tight spot where her beardogthing had to save her.
Blood Bending only works on Full moons... unless someone in the Avatar State could do it.If Katara had bothered to teach korra the art of waterbending people/blood she wouldn't have gotten in such a tight spot where her beardogthing had to save her.
Katarra also found blood bending to be ultimately unsettling, and likely never used it again. It wouldn't surprise me if she never taught anyone that ability.Blood Bending only works on Full moons... unless someone in the Avatar State could do it.
I'm pretty sure that was an interior shot, on a ship. It's entirely possible that it happened at night.IIRC, Katara used bloodbending in The Southern Raiders without the aid of the full moon, implying she had surpassed Hama.
We played a homebrewed 3.5 Avatar campaign. I was a healer and it went pretty well.I'm actually working on a homebrewed Avatar campaign similar to DnD 4e right now, wherein our Airbender player is dabbling with the idea of eventually branching into sonics.
Quit being the exact same person as me, Gusto.
It's also a really easy way to burst their ear drums or make them deaf. I doubt it's the kind of thing they'd use lightly.Sound is a pretty nonlethal way to incapacitate a dude.
Once the Air Benders can form a tribe again, I bet they will spend more time on developing Martial Skillz...I always imagined the more advanced form of Air-Bending would be using air bending to manipulate sound as it travels from your mouth to the target, if anything. Aang already did something similar when he used the Bison Whistle to round up all the animals lose in Ba Sing Sa. But really, I highly doubt that a society based on transcendence and peace would develop a method of bending for fighting.
Doubtful. Aang was only a kid when his society was utterly wiped out... and now think just how much was hidden from you until YOU became an adult. Basically, Aang was only given the party line about the Air Nomads. It's entirely likely that's all he passed down to his children and followers. I doubt they'll become more militarized.Once the Air Benders can form a tribe again, I bet they will spend more time on developing Martial Skillz...
