Damnit, I really wish Blizzard would give us a pre-launch playing period like some of the MMOs have done for people who've bought the game early.

You know, they'd probably feel better and have a better gaming experience if they just had some half-way healthy meals and snacks, and drank some water while pulling their all night/multiple day gaming binge.

I told my wife I wanted to play this if it ever hits the console and she told me no, I've been banned from Diablo. Then she told me to go play Skyrim again.

I deserve it. She witnessed my Diablo 2 relapse. I know everyone says they played a lot of Diablo 2, but I killed 3 hard drives and 4 cd drives playing it, not to mention wearing out 2 laser mice (is that right?).

Ever make a Zod? Yeah, that's how sick I was.

I'll gladly believe you played more though - especially if you MP'ed... Not a bragging contest :-P
I only killed 1 CD-drive....but I did have to rebuy DII 3 times because the cds gave out.

Watching the internet go nuts as the release draws closer and closer is amazing.

For that matter, 1.5 hours to go before I get to install! But about 20 hours before I get to play because I have early morning class. :(

Yeah. By the time you log in, the marketplace will already be saturated and you won't be able to unload any of your gear.

I keep forgetting to even generate my Battletag, and the only time I seem to remember is when I am here at work, which I can't log in due to my authenticator. Doh. Will try to remember for tonight since I will actually be playing and all.

Yup, which is why I don't expect to play tonight but rather after work tomorrow, sadly.

Going to have everything installed before I go to sleep though.

Took tomorrow off, though I expect most of it will be spent with server errors. Letting the game install now, going to stop by the store later and get a case of beer and see if I can stay up late like I used to (stupid east coast).

I considered taking tomorrow off, but I'd much rather wait until I know that the servers are stable. Which probably means that I won't wind up taking any time off (which is better for my paycheck anyway), since by the end of the week I won't be so desperate to play that I feel the need to take an entire day off.

This is very true. The hype around the release is huge, so expect a lot of people hitting the authentication servers like a truck tonight.

I wonder if at the very least I can get my WoW pet tonight...

All I'm hoping to do tonight is install the game client. Then I'll go back to Minecraft or Tera until tomorrow afternoon when hopefully the servers are back online after their impending crashes.
