Hey, hey, I was kinda right!I can only assume they didn't get famous for beating the hardest game (is game the right word? whatev's..) but rather for simply dying and losing terribly at the hardest.. thing.
I'm actually not sure Kurtz knows what character development actually is....did I miss the character development in that arc?
Scooby watched. No, she and Shaggy had Francis.
Honestly I don't dislike his strip, and I've come in here to defend it more than once. He's one of the only webcomics out there that does regular updates and the daily nature of his comics means that they won't all be hits. Generally it's still one of the best webcomics out there. It's just these last couple of weeks that have been particularly bad.So, um... Serious question here, because this is something I've already done. If you dislike what he writes, does, and how he acts, we do so many of you still go and read his strip? I don't think I've looked at anything he's done since... I can't even remember. It's been at least since Max came back as a business partner. I'm not saying don't read it if that's what you want to do, but why do you read it if you're displeased with the work?
WOuld you film it for a scooby snack?Scooby watched.
Or at least, they claim he just watched.
I stopped reading shortly after the site design. It makes sense for Penny Arcade which is much more than a webcomic site but when PvP went to this format it just seemed like a way to increase page views with no additional content. I stuck around for a couple of weeks. The site bugged me so bad and the strip hasn't been doing it for me I decided it was time to move on. I still check out this thread in the event he hits gold again and I don't want to miss anything but yet have not found much to lure me back. My page view won't be missed, though, as I'm sure he's more than doubled his page views with the new site. Like he said in one of his tweets to a disgruntled reader "My site will be there whether you visit or not."So, um... Serious question here, because this is something I've already done. How about an abundance of copy/pasted panels?Just to be on record so we're not accused of just bitching all the time, the last few comics have not had anything to complain about, from my perspective.
