Should have quoted the OP then. Leads to thread confusion. My post was actually aimed at Charlie... y'know, the irony of making a post to ask what to post.

I came as soon as I figured out I was tagged. The first time Yoshimickster arrived, he created a bunch of new threads. And amazingly, of subjects that we hadn't (to my knowledge) previously discussed. I bet he could come up with a heaping load of new threads.[DOUBLEPOST=1347755944][/DOUBLEPOST]

I'd guess for the same reason you don't mix a high-end whisky/bourbon/etc, the alcohol stands on its own as a drink. Filtered or unfiltered sake is delicious, I kind of wish I'd remember to get myself a bottle one of these days.Okay so, I've thought about this and then I had a cocktail and I thought "Why isn't sake in more cocktails?" but that isn't where I'm going with this, I just really would like an answer.
Then I had some wine with dinner, which was amazing. The dinner. The wine was alright.
Anyway, listen.
Humour Snobbery. I want this thread. Because it is all too often that I feel like giving an unnecessary and unwanted analysis of some comedy or sitcom or comedian... Why I find it funny, or why it's actually terrible... etc. This is all I could come up with. But instead of making the thread I'm typing it here because I don't really have the wherewithal to write up an analysis of anything to get the thread started right now.
My guess would be that Sake wasn't widely available or a popular drink in the States back then (when cocktails made their appearance). The good ones became classics and people used only those spirits as a staple in creating new cocktails.Okay so, I've thought about this and then I had a cocktail and I thought "Why isn't sake in more cocktails?" but that isn't where I'm going with this, I just really would like an answer.
