Seriously it reminded me of that scene from Not Another Teen Movie:
-What are you doing here man? This party already has a token black guy.-
This is my prediction for one of the plot threads. Bear in mind I've read every single issue, but the show has become its own animal.
The Governor goes with Merle to help find Daryl. They split up, and the Governor shoots Daryl because he doesn't want Merle to have loyalty to anybody outside Woodbury. Governor tells Merle that Rick and company killed Daryl. Merle thus becomes more loyal to the governor, captures Rick, and cuts off his hand in revenge.

How dare you speak ill of the greatest actor of our generation.
Don't forget seeing Michonne go all Kill Bill on those captive walkers.
She's quickly growing to awesome of Daryl proportions.
Not to mention we are supposed to believe...
that a lone walker ate an ENTIRE adult woman, bones and all, in maybe an hour or two. Uh-huh.
Spoilery bits about the show behind the spoiler cuts. Some discussion/comparison with the comic, but's it's incredibly vague and not spoiling a single thing, so don't worry.
Last week:
Laurie has just been consistently grating on this show, which is really sad as she was a better character in the comic. I don't know if it was the writing or the actress of a combination, but as Jack Nicholson said in Batman, "I'm glad you're dead!" Plus, we got super-insane Rick out of it. And another badass moment from Carl, who yeah, might have lost his childhood, but has become one of the most useful members of the group. There's no such thing as young, old, male, or female in this kind of world. Just those that can survive and who can help others to survive. Carl is doing that, even if it's at the expense of his childhood.
Sad to see T-Dawg gone, but it was inevitable. I'm surprised Talking Dead said Carol was dead, though. Kind of expected her to somehow survive. I suppose just because she's "dead" doesn't mean we won't see her walking around.

Michonne continues to become more and more badass, thus making her just as awesome as her comic counterpart. And the actress they chose to play her has been knocking the role right out of the park, especially in the things she doesn't say. Just her looks and body language alone sells the character. I wish I could say the same for Andrea. It's strange how she's such a great, tough, useful character in the comic and a total, naive, nearly useless putz in the show. At least she's had her eyes opened in the great "pro-wrestling" scene near the end.
Surprised they jumped right to the phone thing with Rick, though. I won't say anything spoilery past that, though.
It's honestly really interesting how they're condensing several plot threads from the comic into this season. Since he's been introduced now, I can at least say that The Governor was introduced in the comic much later into the "prison saga." No complaints, honestly. I like that they introduced him right out of the gate. And re-introducing Merle to the show has, like keeping Shane alive longer than the comic, has added an interesting thread which leaves you wondering how he affects things. Though I get a strong feeling what will happen once he meets with Rick again. No spoilers.

We won't see her around, she was buried. Meaning they finished making sure she wouldn't come back.
Furthermore, it seems I got a few disagrees with no one stating particularly why they felt different about my opinion but I'll state it again, this week's show was average.

As for the wrestling arena fight. I thought it was lame as fuck and I don't care about whatever is in the comics. If their goal was to revolt me about how stupid as fuck it was then they did a spectacular job.

I honestly feel like they are condensing way too much story down this season. If they keep going at this pace, they might outpace the comics and then I really have no idea what kind of strange bullshit they'll try to pull.
I'm willing to bet the reason why they didn't show Carol dying was because her actress was allergic to the stuff they use for the make-up or some other lame reason. They haven't exactly shyed away from showing the women getting eaten, so it seems odd they would do it now.
I don't know that you can call it strange bullshit since the guy who created the comics is an executive producer.
As for this week's episode, the pacing was kind of bizarre. I'm glad Michonne finally left Woodbury, because that side of the narrative seemed like it couldn't make up its mind. Daryl was the fucking man. I loved how in the beginning of the episode, the moment Herschel said the baby was going to die if they didn't get formula, he was all "Fuck no, that ain't happening" and stormed right off to get the stuff. Then the handprint, and holding the baby, and the grave... Awesome episode of him.
As for the dead, the bloody hat was neat, but I agree, they could've given us a 5-second shot of the body for closure. As for what Rick found ... that was fucking disgusting.
