I should've phrased that better. Masks will not protect the mask-wearer, but yes, it'll help slow the spread. I'm just saying, a lot of people are buying them thinking of them as self-protection, which they aren't, but if they're doing the right thing then no reason to stop them.

Now that the CDC has said wearing clothes masks will help slow the spread, people are buying them up. And I'm going to keep it to myself (except here) that those cloth masks still will not protect you. Healthcare workers have to go through tested mask fitting with professional grade stuff...
