That reminds me of when I was working for a radio shop. They installed the light bars, radios, and other equipment in police vehicles, ambulances, and fire trucks around the county. We always had scanners on. I just said, "I work for Birch's Communications" and I was excused.

If jury duty in Canada is anything like the US, I'd say wear something comfortable because you're going to be sitting around doing nothing for several hours.

My daughter and Aussie are camping overnight with her 3rd grade class on the north shore. I got a frantic text from a friend about the earthquake and possible tsunami warning for Hawaii. All I could think was, "Really? Of course there is going to be a tsunami. I mean, why not."

Every once in awhile the same kind of thing happens to me. I'll start looking for a picture I know I have on my PC and come across something like the group picture N_R drew or that memorial piece his parents sent, and it makes my heart sink.

Today was my last day of work. Well, paid work. I start my practicum/internship next Thursday and get paid in experience. :rolleyes:
