I picked up King of New York, the sequel to King of Tokyo last week and spent some time playing with friends this weekend. It's a ton of fun, and the changes to the core mechanic swings the core mechanic more to strategy than lucky dice rolls. Of course, as always, you still need those too.

I think for many of us, the passing of NR was the moment we realized that this board is collectively more than just a bunch of dicks bitching about stuff on the internet. I mean, we ARE that too, but still.

I think the book that suffered the most from cuts was Prisoner of Azkaban. They really didn't nail how much of a dick Harry's dad actually was to Snape, which becomes super important later on. And the whole house elf subplot was left out entirely, making Dobby's reappearance in the last movies...

Because of this video I rewatched the first two Rami Spider-Man movies and I whole heartedly agree with his analysis. I know they get a lot of the hipster backlash nowadays, but those movies are classic and an important part of the cinematic landscape.
