Gas Bandit's Political Thread V: The Vampire Likes Bats

To be fair, in that case the government taxpayers settled in court for $3.6M after 2 years of litigation. In this case she doesn't seem to be getting any financial remedy.

Gas Bandit's Political Thread V: The Vampire Likes Bats

KUTV: Pregnant bystander mauled by police dog denied by judge in federal lawsuit I find the general idea of deferring to a government actor's intent to determine that your rights were not violated to be a thoroughly disgusting idea. That ought to be a one way street for them--intent can turn...

Whine like a baby, now with 500% more drama!

Oops, corrected. Yeah, wish I had some of that :P Good to know. Unsure how I would've come in contact with any that, given how little outdoors time I got this weekend. It would explain why neither the cream nor desloratadine are effective in the least.

Day 3 with a mystery splotchy rash on my left upper back. It itches enough that hydrocortisone cream is doing jack. It intermittently feels like someone is pushing needles into my back muscles. It quietens down when I stop moving my arms, but it's distracting me a lot at work and when doing...

The only bad experiences I've had regarding PDFs and my Kindles involved very graphic-heavy documents (which is really not what a 2nd gen Kindle is for anyway). Text PDFs, or those with very few diagrams, that conform to standard book size work really well for me. Regardless, I agree that going...

The Random Crap Thread 2: It Hits the Fan.

Used Kindles (1/2/3 gen) can be in the $20-30 USD range. They're very easy to load books onto (PDFs are drop-in, other formats may require a touch of Calibre), are rugged, and won't do much other than serve books (i.e. no temptation to play games instead). That said, I'm not sure what the pre-YA...

Could you make some time in the morning to have him eat with you, then remove the food? You could also split his evening meal in 2 or 3 so he can't overdo it. There's plenty of guides online on how to reduce cat stress. There's also products like Feliway (have never tried it, almost did when I...

There might be something missing in their diet, or they could be stressed, ill, or otherwise unhappy with something. Your vet may be able to give you some clues. If you're free-feeding them, maybe try a switch to 2+ reasonable daily meals (usually morning and evening) so they can't gorge as...

    Whats for Dinner?

Nope, fairly sure that's one of the big no-nos, but it fits pretty well in low-carb/keto. You can pry the coagulated casein from my cold, dead hands--at least for dietary/health reasons, I'd give up cheese for moral reasons if I were sufficiently persuaded.

    Whats for Dinner?

I love dressing up my shitty "ah crap, I need to use X up" meals. Block of expiring low moisture mozzarella, handful of almonds, hot sauce. Had a big lunch.

This is the best burger I've had, from a Bacoa in Barcelona a few years ago. It was either a limited-time burger (bun looks different than their usual) or a modified Manchega.

I don't recall whether a reason is given in other pages or extra comics, but the Elven Gods are part of the Western pantheon, color-wise.

[Rant] Minor Rant III: For a Few Hollers More

Was helping some friends assemble a 200in screen (goddam yuge) for their indoor projector, and one of the frame's spring-hooks (which hold the screen in place and keep it taut) sliced a ∩ through my left index finger pad. The wound and the bandaid make typing bothersome.
