Mother Gothel was a surprisingly real villain. She reminded me of my ex's mother quite a bit. Ex thought so too. I think that's why she loves that movie so much, because it's overcoming that type of personality.

I've been in such a good mood recently. Why the hell am I suddenly feeling depressed again?? Agh! It's like, I'm tricked into thinking I'm feeling better. As long as I have something to occupy my thoughts, like learning to sew or working on some problem, I'm fine. But the SECOND I turn it off...

If we're going with "realistic skills" and not "magic powers", the ability to do just about any kind of digital art I want. I can pick up just about the basics of any skill, even start learning a language okay, but I am absolute utter crap when it comes to artwork, and that's the sort of thing...

Tonight I learned how to sew! ... I think! I have a barebones sewing machine, so it doesn't have anything fancy, not even a backstitch or lockstitch button, so I had to figure out all that on my own. I -think- I got it. At least, I got to a point where I could no longer easily rip my stitches...
