This might be really stupid: I have Vista Ultimate. If I buy Windows 7 Ultimate as an Upgrade, and say, have to reformat, do I have to install Vista and then 7 again? Or can I just install 7?

So.. that's basically it. I bought an external drive. It's Seagate, has its own power, connects through USB. Every once in a while it plays the 'device disconnected' sound, disappears from the My Computer, the system tray icon vanishes, and then in 30-60 seconds it plays the 'device connected'...

How do I figure out if one polygon will fit inside of another? Here's the problem: Regular pentagon, each side is 5'9.5" (5.792'), all the angles are equal, etc. I have a 6' square. Can I fit the square inside the pentagon? Inherently I think no, but I can't really mathematically reason...
