Man, I remember tooling around with FL. There's a 'professional' version of the software also, but most of the rest of the software out there (Reason, Logic, even GarageBand) seriously kicks its butt these days. I don't remember using anything quicker, though.

should be organized by drum type. There are a fair number of snare samples, with a couple of sets of different volumes, one of which has left and right hand hits and the other multiple hits but doesn't designate the left and right hand. The big thing with programmed drums is having a "randomized" snare sound...so it rarely, if ever, plays the same sample twice. I might have to switch to that now that I think about it. It will involve redoing the songs where I've programmed drums, but might be worth it.
