are there ever threads that you never click on, but you like to speculate what's going on in there?

like, the title might be vague and you're like "oh, I'm not gonna click that thread, pfffff" and then it gets to two pages and you're like "huh, I wonder what's up" but you still don't click since fuck it, that thread title isn't doing anything for you!!!

but then it gets like 100 posts and you're like "oh shit, what if someone called someone else straight up a PIECE OF SHIT ?", you just kinda wanna know.

Now you're looking at one of those threads and you're just speculating wildly. You're making up what is happening in that thread, it's a pretty funny thread.

so yeah, I have no clue what the fuck the "it's not rocket science, people!" thread is about, but I think in my head canon, we built a rocket to mars and we're arguing over who to send on it.

I don't make up stories about the threads, but when one I had no interest in hits a high page count, I do get to wondering what's in it.

I rarely (if ever) click on the NFL/NBA/MLB/NHL threads, because I assume they talk about sports.

It's not rocket science started as me teasing my wife over pop culture preferences and has evolved into an educated discussion regarding cultural norms that establish these preferences.

In other words, stay the fuck out of it @Charlie Don't Surf

Did anyone ever expect to click on this thread and find a picture of OP?

Because, well that just happened.

Well, I clicked on this one, after all...

Generally, I stay out of most media threads, simply because I'm not familiar with most of what gets posted there. Same for the sports threads.

I didn't quite feel ready to face yet another Taylor Swift fan thread, so I haven't clicked on that one yet. I skip some of the sports threads, as well, and though I occasionally browse through it, I don't really follow the Canadian thread closely either. I think that's about it.

Most new threads usually have a lot of comments already by the time I get around to read them. Sometimes I also ignore them, until they stay on page 1 for a long time with lots of comments and I get curious about it.
