ok. I can understand some of it, but I guess the rules (Catholics rules) are pretty strict. The doctors determine that the pregnancy could result in both death (baby and mother) due to high blood pressure. My sister blood pressure spiked during her last week of her pregnancy and almost died giving birth to her son. So I guess I can relate somewhat, but from the article (one side of the story) the doctors know what they are doing and abort the baby to save the mother's life.
Now... the other part of the violation confuse me

If the Catholic church decides to pull itself from a hospital, they may do so for whatever reason they desire. Since they provide no funding for the hospital, then perhaps the community will be better off if the hospital starts working for the patients rather than for the church.
The story suggests a lack of communication between the hospital and the church, so I wonder if the hospital wasn't already interested in losing it's catholic status, and maneuvered politically so that they could lose it without being seen as completely in the wrong, or seen as being the ones to cut the catholic church away.
The "100%" certainty of mother and child death if the pregnancy continues - at merely 11 weeks pregnancy - sounds somewhat suspicious, but since we have no access to the case history and diagnosis we can only take their word on it.

That was the most terrifying week of my life. I have only one sibling and I don't want to lose the only one I had.

Yea. I only know a little about the risk of high blood pressure and pregnancy from my sister's experience. She was constanly monitor 24 hours for 1 week (last week before birth) The doctor said my sister was very lucky cause she could have died from it.
