While it's at a lower level, it doesn't look like the animation will detract from the story. In other words it's not bad animation, it's just simpler animation. At least the tiny bit that was shown...
I'm interested to know if the story is substantial. Scientists create an AI, the AI becomes strong, then has to fight to save the world. Straightforward. The devil is in the plot details...
To be honest, I'm disappointed in the low-quality animation that's shown as well. The actual art is good, but the lack of movement in everything leaves a lot to be desired.I dunno, maybe my love of the comic makes me want to see it not done half assed.
Yeah, it looks like it's a brand new story for the character, but it's part of an existing comics universe. And I heartily recommend buying the comic collections. They're pretty amazing.oooOOOooooh. I didn't realize it was an adaptation of existing stories. I'll have to read the free stuff to get a feel for it.
