Probably going to be holding our new baby in a day or two. Despite this being our 6th* kid, I'm having pre-delivery jitters, and just had to tell someone.

Anyway - this is a placeholder thread for likely to be soonish** cute*** newborn pictures.

*Oh, you're new here? I'm the one guy on the board with a whole pack of kids. All boys, including this new one. I'm a one trick pony in that regard.

**We're getting signs of pre-labor (ie, 4cm and painless contractions, etc)

***Ugly for those who aren't big fans of newborns. Seriously lizardlike, dude.

The odds are actually a little better than that, since the gender split isn't 50/50. There's actually better than a 51% chance for a boy. According to this article there's about a 1.79% (1 in 55.57) chance of six boys in a row (and only 1.35% chance of six girls in a row).

I also hear that once you have a baby of a certain gender, the odds are greater that subsequent children will also be of that gender. I'm not sure if there's any legitimacy to that though.

Still no baby yet. (sigh)

But mom is in town (will be leaving again tuesday) and tomorrow our favorite midwife is scheduled to be at the hospital, so we're pushing things along today.
