Baby charged with planning a murder

No, not Espy, a 9 month old baby in Pakistan. Kinda hoping this is just an April Fools day joke someone came across a couple of days late and fell for.

This story has a happy ending. The kid was granted bail.

Bail. Not thrown out for being stupid. Bail.

On the bright side, the judge didn't have a choice in what he did and the policeman who charged the kid has been ridiculed and fired. This is one of those times when I agree that mandatory constraints on a judge is stupid. Of course, the other side of that coin - judicial discretion - has judges granting bail to rich guys who rape their own 3 year old daughter...
