wow, I had a huge post, and lost it.
I don't like to fight, so I've never had any 'best fights'. I do have a few fight stories, though. It'd be a friggin tl;dr book to type any of them up with any detail.
Here's the short version of one: Right out of the navy (around '94ish), I was in a bar with a friend of mine. I drank about 11 tequila shots that night and was nearly falling down drunk. When we left, these two guys chased us and tried to steal my friend's pool cue, so I tore them up.
One guy decided he didn't want to fight after about 30 seconds of my drunken ass being all over him. Left the other guy with a ton of cuts on his face (think boxing cuts), and a split lip that was completely split through like a hare-lip. Still, he was tough. He didn't give up until I choked him out.
I'm lucky they didn't have knives or guns. I'd probably be dead. Heh.
I visited my mom the next day, and she'd already heard about the fight through the grapevine. I was totally embarrassed, because I was the 'good kid' and never got into trouble.
Also, once, right out of the navy, I worked at a convenience store, and had a homeless guy pull a little pocket knife on me and threaten to stab me because I wouldn't give him any money for an already-cashed scratch off lottery ticket. I took the knife from him and bum-rushed him out of the store. I really didn't really feel like he was any real threat, but I suppose that a non-trained person may have been in real danger.
I really don't have the training motivation I used to, which is a shame. I used to train several hours a day, for the sheer enjoyment of it. In 2003, when I moved to Dallas, I lost all my students, and it was only recently that I started teaching again. Without a steady class to teach, and with all of the new things I had going on up here (new band, new girlfriends, etc), it was hard to find hours a day to practice.
The music was a big killer. Like martial arts, it takes a lot of daily commitment, and I really don't have much time for both.
I really need to get back into a more consistent training regimen, but with 3 kids in the house, and me working 9-5's, and doing the cooking, it's a bit hard to squeeze it in with all of the other things I like to try to do in the 3 or so free hours I have in a day. With me no longer working with the band, I think i'll probably be spending a little more time working out.[/QUOTE]

And wow, I envy your will to train. And I completely understand how time is a really precious thing...

These questions interest me, Shego.
The first one was a question as to which you prefer. I know we prefer to have a steady guaranteed thing "2nd girlfriend" if you will than have to be "searching" for our next encounter.
Live in, yeah it's a delicate matter, but as you can tell from my first answer, it's a situation I wish we had set in stone already.
