The way I see it, if this works, and MMA becomes an accepted medium for conflict resolution therapy, we're one step closer to turning Congress into something useful and fun to watch.
You don't really need MMA training for that. And if this prompts terrorists to start walking onto planes completely unarmed, strip their shirts off and go, "IIIIIIIIIIIIIT'S...TIIIIIIIIIIME!!" then we're probably in a better place.

) - but a jihadi with a bomb and no idea where to put it is less dangerous than a jihadi with a bomb and good and well-organised network keeping him up to date on the exact location of troop movements through instant communication systems (cell phones, facebook, twitter, whatever - and since they have been used for those goals, you can't very well claim that's ridiculous) (and my point has always been that you need both to be succesful rebels and that blind focus on the bomb while you ignore the government taking away your ability to organize and communicate is myopic and self-defeating. "Twitter is more dangerous than a gun" is not something I said, but the soundbite GasBandit made of it )If bare hands are capable of killing, we urgently need to BAN ALL HANDS.
