Captain America: The First Trailer

Let's see... we've got some cool Tommy Lee Jones action, some interesting bits about the whole Super-Soldier process... it's solid. You know why it doesn't look too bad? Hardly any shots the cheesy villains.

What do y'all think?

Not bad. Pacing seems a little...off, somehow, but it's a good look. I like the idea of the whole movie taking place in the 40s. They should have done something like that for Wolverine.

Was that Dum Dum Dugan and the Howling Commandos at 1:58? Does that mean a white Nick Fury is in it?

No, but from what I've heard it's got a black angry Nick Fury in it. But there's no truth to the rumor that Fury mentions how he's tired of the "muthafuckin' nazis on this motherfuckin' continent."

That looks a lot better than I had anticipated. For the first time since the movie has been announced I'm excited to see it.

Only if Nick Fury is like the James Bond as a code name theory...
Or the original Nick married the token black guy's sister and his grandson just has the same name... or given Sam Jackson's age he could just be Jr. (although i'm guessing he's not supposed to be 60+ in Iron Man).

It's an official poster, but only one being given to cast and crewmembers and a select few who win a contest. It's a shame, because that's a pretty cool poster.

He's Ultimatesy. Hell, that poster could very well have been a cover to one of the first two Ultimates series.

Well i for one wouldn't mind a black suit with some dark-ish purple stripes at points if it's not over done...

But he's missing the shades to be Ultimate Hawkeye...

Why is Hawkeye trying to shoot Cap in the back of the head? And what exactly is Black Widow trying to jump kick that no one else is looking at?

I never cared about Captain America. I didn't care when they announced they were making a movie.

But every time they release something new for it, I'm a little more impressed and now I really want to see it. Kudos.

I think it is time that I quit watching trailers for this movie. It seems to be giving away a bit much. Especially the training test.
I totally concur. But remember, trailer people don't give a rat's ass if you see the whole film in the trailer. Their job is to get butts in the seats. And judging from the responses here they did their job.
