One of my favorite musicians.

Fuck.

Kurt, Layne, Scott, and now Chris.

Chris had the greatest voice of my generation. He picked up where Freddie Mercury left off. This really makes me sad. Selfishly, I am sad because I never got to hear him in person. I listen to the Audio Slave album at least once a week. Temple of the Dog and Soundgarden are always in my playlist. Damn it.

They were in town last Friday (May 12) and I couldn't see them because I had a "Mother's Day Tea Party" at my mom's nursing home. So I missed it for a good reason, but I still missed it. I mean, I wasn't a huge fan, but I did like the group.

Too soon maybe, but...




I was definitely a fan of Audioslave and Soundgarden both. I really enjoyed hearing him sing.

Not nearly as popular, but Screaming Trees frontman Mark Lanegan has a really great rock-n-roll voice, IMO.

Eddie's used to the pain. He's a Cubs fan.

Fucking hanged himself. The shame.

Learned about this from a dog-basketed bike owner, damn shame. Weirdly enough the conversation about Superman at first, but people grieve differently.
