Please don't just "run them by him". Use the correct process to apply for the right to post an ew thread by filling out form A-127B in triplicate, sending one copy to the Admins, one to the Queen, and one to thread_request_service_1240@services-halforums-international.com . Once you have approval of either the Queen's Court or the Admins, you can attach this authorization (which will be delivered to you either by FedEx or DoomWeasel at your registered home address 2 t4 working days after the request has been received) to the original request at service 1240. They will register the approved request and give you a time and date window in which your thread may be posted no later than 3 weeks after the approval has been received, barring technical difficulties.
Failure to post a requested and approved thread will result in automatic dismissal of your next 4 thread requests, unless a properly completed form A-127C has been introduced to thread_request_cancellation_service_1251@services-halforums-international.com within 48 hours after the end of the proposed posting time window.
A request to change the time slot can be made up to 2 working days before the beginning of your allotted slot with a correctly motivated (valid motivation list can be acquired by simple request at service 1249) form A-127F sent to thread_request_change_service_1253@services-halforums-international.com .

Pretty much everything animal related generally ends up in the ":3" thread, but sometimes finding it can be a bit of a hassle.

I saw elsewhere somebody posited the idea that because ferret babies are roughly the size, shape, and color of human fingers that she was trying to put the human's fingers "back in the nest where they go."

Either that or she feels like she ought to be "mothering" the human as one of her own.
Ferrets like that have a very strong maternal instinct and will put all sorts of things in the nest with their babies.
My weasels just try to stash me under the sofa for a snack later.

Our female ferret would collect empty toilet paper rolls. We found ~30 under a recliner. Little sneaky thing. I don't ever remember seeing her carrying one.

One of my males would do the same. He would pile them in my closet behind my suitcase, then sit on top of them and cackle while rubbing his little paws together.
