I think the first thing I saw him in was 9 to 5, where he played the role of overbearing boss to a T.
Later, I realized, "Hey, this guy from 9 to 5 is everywhere!" Usually playing the stereotypical goofball/clueless yet overbearing "type," but also so many other things in so many other places as a kind of "budget" Gene Hackman. Not counting TV appearances, I've seen eight of the movies he's been in, which may be more an indication of just how many movies he's been in than any preference on my part.

His most memorable film for me is WarGames, the movie that set me on the path to computer nerd.

I know I saw him first in The Muppets Take Manhattan, followed shortly by 9-to-5, but he really got cemented in my mind by Drexell's Class. He was really good at playing morally bad guys.

My first memory of him was in Cloak and Dagger, where he played an imaginary super-spy named Jack Flack.

I didn't count Cloak and Dagger only because I haven't seen the whole thing, but I remember surfing into the middle of it a lot when it had its cable run.

I liked him in the prestige comedy series Buffalo Bill.

I feel like I might be the only one that will have had this be my intro to him.

Maybe, but that's an excellent intro.
