This may be impossible to believe, but...

The GOD mode is even worse.
I love that game

It's a bullet hell shooter, basically, trick is to have insane fine tuned reflexes and intimate knowledge of your ships actual hitbox, which is usually a hell of a lot smaller than your ship's sprite or model.
also, memorization of patterns. That way, you know when you can just exploit some easy trick to make the fight a lot easier rather than just purely trying to dodge.

I just watched the demo walkthrough for this game.

I'm torn between beating my head against the desk until the pain from seeing Divine Comedy ass-raped by a Kratos-wannabe, no-personality chainmail monkey subsides... and sending a 'thank you' note to the screenwriter in the form of a pipe bomb.

The literature lover in me cries tears of blood.

I mean, I don't think there's any reason to get violently upset...but it is a shame that they're putting so much stock and advertising in it having any connection to the book.

I loved E3 where these booth girls for Dante's Inferno were asked about the game. "It's just like Zelda, only better. Better weapons, better powers, better bad guys." "Yeah." "Totally."

I wish that even meant anything.
