Hey David! Just wondering if you've ever tried inking one of your drawings. The shapes here are pretty strong and if you inked your lines, you could end up with a fairly polished-looking image here. I dunno, it might be worth playing around with if you're interested. For the longest time, I just drew with pencils and ballpoint pens myself, etc., but once I learned about inking, it kinda changed things a lot for me. A technical pen, for instance (like a Staedtler pigment liner or a Pigma Micron) gives your lines such a different look/feel than a pencil does. It polishes and finishes things up, etc. All you have to do is just smoothly, slowly, trace over your pencil lines with the pen. But don't use a thick pen, because then you'll lose a lot of your detail. A 0.1 size pen might work well on a drawing like this. Oh - and don't push too hard with the pen, or you might break the tip, heh (I break the tips on Microns all the time, so nowadays I tend to prefer using the Staedtler pens; they're more durable).
Anyways, I'm just saying random stuff, heh. Draw whichever your muse takes you, of course. The point is: get back here and draw, haha!
