Demographics: Starting Pokémon

I guess its a copout because its a legendary but I like zapdos. When I played the card game my deck was build around zapdos even though his card was crappy.

I just looked on line and all but 12.5 % of the original starter type species are male. That....that explains a lot about why they are so rare.

Any time my friends and I start playing again, we all agree to a no legendary rule, and it completely screws up the balance of my team when I can't have my Zapdos.

Yeah, Legendaries are kinda lame. But then again, I used to raise things like Dragonite, Metagross, Tyranitar, Garchomp... my friends would never bother getting those guys up because they aren't very useful till the end game.

Oh that reminds me, I have a beastly Metagross in my Heartgold game. Adamant nature and max attack IVs. This guy's Meteor Mash causes so much pain.

Metagross would probably be my second favorite pokemon.
