How long do you spend on your avatars? Do you just come across photos that fit the theme and use it? Or do you plan them out?

Would you eat a poptart for which an ingredient was wasabi? In a non-tongue destroying amount, that is.

I usually look for photos that fit the theme or that I think are funny. I wish I had the time to make them myself.

Depends on the flavor. I don't know that a traditional fruit filling would taste good with wasabi. I would eat a savory poptart with wasabi in it though.

If you could jump into the mind of any HalForums poster for one day who would it be?
Gas Bandit.

Who is the hottest forumite?
Me, of course! Duh. ;)

I'm constantly reminded that I could be in Hawaii when I look above my desk and see your postcard on my board. Does it make you sad to think of all the ...geese you're missing out on here?

If you have a flight of fighters coming at your vessel from a z+ 30 degree angle to port and a cruiser bearing in to starboard would you scramble your CAP group to the fighters and let your main guns deal with the cruiser or would you have the CAP engage the cruiser between volleys and hope the flak guns can handle the enemy fighters?

You win a prize and can choose to spend $10,000 hosting a swank weekend holiday party for you and your nearest and dearest 120 friends at a four star hotel.

Which holiday do you hold the party for?

Actually I do miss Canadian geese in the fall. We used to have hundreds of them land in the field behind my parents' house on their way south for the winter.

My answer: KITTENS! Lots of kittens. Fire them from cannons as a diversion and then attack! Tiny claws and sharp teeth! Kittens, fire ze missles!

Mr. Wasabi's answer (since he is the Navy guy and I barely understand the question): Where is my battle group? And why would I let fighters and cruiser get so close to my vessel in the first place? Send my jets after the fighters. Then take a bearing on the opposite angle of the cruiser as fast as possible to open the distance and screw up their line of sight for firing weapons on my ship. Once the fighters are dealt with send the jets to take out the cruiser. (he's assuming his vessel is a modern aircraft carrier)

Hmm. That's tough. I'd love to throw a huge Halloween masquerade ball, but we had a small wedding with only family in attendance. I'd like to have a vow renewal and fancy reception with our friends, too. Maybe mix the two some how since my friends are into the whole goth/cosplay/steampunk thing anyway.

You hear a VWORP VWORP sound and turn to find the TARDIS materializing next to you. The door squeaks open and The Doctor tells you he'll take you anywhere at any time in the universe, but only one round trip cause, uhhh Daleks.

Where and when do you go?

I would have The Doctor take me outside of our galaxy so I could see who or what else is out there besides crazy humans on Earth. If there are other humanoids, how like us are they and what are their societies like? It would be really interesting to see. And he had better have some jelly babies for the trip.

Is there any chance we will ever meet Mr Poptart?

Also, thanks for the note you sent me. I'm doing fine... just have to be on bloody antibiotics again for a flu. And I have absolutely no voice left.

Mr. Poptart probably won't be a member of HF. He reads message boards for information he needs, but that's the extent of it. I show him things on here that I think he will be interested in, though. And he laughs at my avatar choices. :D
Hope you're off the antibiotics soon. The flu is particularly nasty everywhere this year. *hugs*

Which one of your kids is your favorite? Be honest.

Serious question: What are some of your favorite stress relieving activities?

What's the next avatar?
I just started using this one so I think I'll stick with her for a little while. Plus I always wanted purple hair. I'm always on the look out for something better though I might have to go check what's lurking on our old desktop since Gusto and Calleja both said they miss some of my old avatars.

Depends on what we're doing. Noah, being older and an pretty intelligent kid for his age, is fun to have conversations with about books or science stuff. He likes dancing, too, and has a great sense of humor. Lily, on the other hand, is a perfect mix of princess and tomboy. She loves going outside to play and she is more physical than her brother was at this age so she's fun to run around with. She's also reached the stage where pretend play is a lot of fun for her (and me). I can't really pick a favorite because I love both of them for who they are becoming.

I'm kind of girly when it comes to relaxation. I like being pampered or pampering myself when I am stressed out. A pedicure does wonders for my state of mind. A candlelight bubble bath (alone) with soft music. A good book and some coffee. When we didn't have kids, Mr. Wasabi and I would wander around in bookstores for a couple of hours. Spending time outside, particularly at the beach, usually does it for me, too, whether I'm alone or with the whole family. Sunshine, waves, and sand are good for my soul.
Honestly, there are some days when relaxation means having two minutes in the bathroom by myself to take a few deep breaths and pull my head back together before I hear "MOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMYYYYYYYYY!!!!" one more time.
