Okay, due to space and memory issues, I'm going to be doing a purge of some of the little-used styles. What I did was I looked at the styles that were used in the last 180 days and determined which ones were being utilized and which were not. Here's the findings.


That's

• XenBlue (default) - 167
• Social - 11
• Animate - 9
• Blackend-Blue - 6
• Blackend - 4
• Blackend-Purple - 4
• Blackend-Green - 3
• Blackend-Red - 3
• XenMobile - 3
• XenMinimal - 3

Whenever I have to do anything it has to go through each of these, which takes resources and time. I will probably be getting rid of ALL the Blackend styles. I'm keeping Social, Animate, XenMobile (mainly because I don't know if this helps people surf mobile) and XenMinimal. I'm keeping XenMinimal because there are a few people who have to use it or risk getting into trouble at work.

You realize if you combine all the Blackened styles into one, they come in second, eh?

I would like to request if you could keep at least one of the blackened styles, although I will understand completely if you do not.

I need a blackend style. Naturally I prefer blue, but it's not the end of the world if I get stuck with red, yellow, green or purple.

The biggest problem with the blackend styles is that they each count as a completely different style. And you have to have the main blackend if you want the colors. I'd be willing to keep blackend itself and maybe change up the colors a bit. I'm not trying to be difficult, I swear. I'm trying to get the software moving faster, which is why I'm doing all of this stuff.[DOUBLEPOST=1367959475][/DOUBLEPOST]One more thing, I've finished with all the updates. If you still see something wonky on your style, please let me know.

I'm fine with regular blackend (which is really "Blackend-yellow"), I just took blue as a personal preference over yellow. But blue's not a dealbreaker.

I wonder if I can fool the system by doing some renaming.

Just don't dump all the blackened. I'd be willing to have the plain old blackened if it came to that. I really, really don't want to go back to the horrible bright screens!

If it needs to be the main blackened style that is fine of course if there was a way to edit the colors to something other than yellow that would be extra nice but not necessary.

Honestly I don't care which blackened it is as long as there's one, I'm happy with there just being one to help you out.

I'm glad you're keeping Minimal. I don't like all that clutter, and I'm not a fan of dark websites. They look like they crawled out of the 90s to me.

I am another that loves minimal, but now it is showing signatures.

Yeah, I second a blackend style. I can't read the normal one very well.

Animate looks all weird now and I don't even know what changed. It's just ever so slightly different, and like most Americans I both fear and loathe change.

I had to do some reverting of styles when I upgraded. If you could tell me exactly what is wrong or different I could try and fix it.

There's an outline around all of the text boxes now that isn't really intruding on anything, but it's kinda off. I don't really know what the original looked like, I didn't know there'd be a memory test, I just know it's weird to suddenly see it slightly different.

Also, it doesn't animate anymore.

I have to update the Animate to the 1.1.4 version. I will be removing it and reinstalling the new version like...now.

+1 to the please keep at least one blackend. Been using Purple since it's been available, definitely feels easiest on the eyes for me.

I can handle that. I switched over to blackened blue now (from green).

Well crap. I tried to do just Blackend-Blue and moved it under the default...but the system didn't like that. Putting it back.

Also, Dave there's a resource on the xenforo site that makes it where when you install/upgrade an add on it will only update the resources that have to be updated instead of all of the resources

The topic title says "purge" in it and there have been no 40K references yet. Halforums, I am disappoint.

All the blackend folks know Animate is a dark theme right? It's miles better.

Any chance we can fix a few things with Animate?

- White shoutbox.
- Quote replies look funky.
- Bad formating for above bars. (home bar and maked all read bars)

On this, I disagree. All the text is almost all the same color on Animate, including names and highlights.

I find the blackened theme to be much more enjoyable than the Animate theme. The colors and the way things are sized just feel off and harder on my eyes.. Plus the animated logo is super annoying and seems out of place (yes I know I could just block it)

Nah, the text boxes are way too big. I like the blackened's smaller size.

I like the regular Blackend best, it's very easy on the eyes. The coloured ones are still a bit too bright for me.

The only things I don't like about the general Blackend theme is that the tags are hard to read..

Yay! You're keeping XenMobile!

It scales very nicely with my iPad. Need to tweak the viewport to get it to work better on the phone. Quick and Clean.

Well, I pretty much have to keep both Blackend and Blackend-Blue. Can't have Blue unless you have the main style. And since it loads the same whether it's viewable or not, I'm keeping it viewable. In the end I got rid of 5 styles - Be Mine (1 person used it), Blackend-Green, -Purple, -Red, -Yellow.

We'll see how much that helps things.

Shoutbox done. Well, it's not perfect as I can't seem to find the color of the padding spaces.

Not sure what the quotes are supposed to look like. Also not sure about the formatting above bars.[DOUBLEPOST=1368114542][/DOUBLEPOST]I see about the quotes now. The avatars are outside. So I need to research the addon that puts the avatars in the quotes.

Avatars in quotes. Done.

2 out of 3 ain't bad.

Just need to fix the menu bars.
