Tonight is the start of the NFL draft. Aside from the usual "this takes FOREVER!!" talk, who do you think should go first? Who's more important?

Will it be Sam Bradford (QB - Oklahoma) to St. Louis or will the Rams look at Rothlesburger and go defense with Ndamukong Suh (DT, Nebraska)? Or will Detroit get a crack at Suh? If they do will they pick him or will they go with Russell Okung (DT, Oklahoma State) or Gerald McCoy (DT, Oklahoma)?

Of course, this is all barring trades and switches (or Minnesota forgetting it's their turn and missing their pick...).

Anyone else interested in this? And those who are, are you interested after the third round?

I just wonder where Colt McCoy will end up. And just how badly were his chances to go in the first round were hurt by his injury in the big game.

I'm a Panthers fan, we don't even have a first round pick, but we'll probably get one by trading our 1st pick in next year's draft just like we've done so many years before. Our main need is someone who can fill the void left by Peppers (which may take several people) and the yearly need to find someone that can play opposite of Steve Smith and take some pressure off of him.

It blew away the NBA playoffs, which says a lot about both sports and amuses me to no end.

Yeah and the Panthers picked.... oh right, we don't have our first selection until 16th in round 2

But yeah, Tebow went in the first round? What was Denver smoking? Clausen is still available, Colt McCoy is still available...

Why? What'd the Bills do now?
Oh you know, the classic team that has huge needs at every position but running back takes a running back. Pretty common.

Traded DOWN TWICE to get....Tim Tebow?!?

Worst. Pick. EVER!

Come on, he has already played a couple of years of pro-ball.
No. No he didn't. And those who say "X college team could beat Y pro team!" is just fucking stupid.
Well, it has happened before.
Except thats not a college team. Those are all the best players. Huge difference.

It says something about a sport when their draft reports include college stats, injuries, and rap sheets.
