Hef's 100% right. How can you have a "Playboy" tv show without tits and ass? Should have been on cable....

But...they were so nice to look at.

Too much clothes for a show called "The Playboy Club" I think is the point behind the article.

#4

Frank

Frankie Williamson

The show was pretty spectacularly awful. Tits or no.

#5

Shegokigo

Shegokigo

Yeah, but no doubt that sultry full on nudity and steamy sex scenes would have at least got it a full season. Afterall, look at the shitfest that is True Blood and look at it's following. That show would have never gone as far as it did on Network TV and it's censors.

Tits or GTFO. :p

#8

They GTFO it seems.

It started with a fat 60-something mobster getting stabbed in the neck with a high heeled shoe and bleeding out all over a storeroom. I didn't make it through the opening credits before I deleted it off my TiVo.

I'm betting on the new girl next. That or two broke girls.

Whatever gets zoey Dashasomething and kat danning one step closer to resorting to porn is ok by me though.

Hopefully together.

I watched it. I thought it was REEEAAALY bad as well and watched it while thinking about Kat Danning doing things to me that would make me blush.

I haven't even seen two broke girls yet. I just know it's gotta be a flop.

The new girl tried too hard. It would have been better without a constant reminder of how weird and quirky she is and that's why she has trouble with men!

2 Broke Girls, Up All Night, The New Girl and Whitney get full-season orders: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/cbs-2-broke-girls-gets-243726

I will continue to watch good TV.

Both of them are doing quite well. You forgot that popularity and quality are not connected in any way.

I love Whitney as a stand-up comedian (She's basically Sarah Silverman on Network TV) and the show's been funnier than alot of stuff out there, it's just not the next "BIG THING". So I'm glad to see Whitney sticking around.

The New Girl is a ratings juggernaut. It's not going anywhere.

I can't stand any of the new sitcoms honestly.

Up All Night was the closest I came to enjoying any of them and it was a hefty meh.

Whitney Cummings' standup is atrocious. She just yells. Her show is just as bad. 2 Broke Girls succeeds in spite of her.

And yeah - New Girl is getting higher ratings than Glee.

Shegokigo

The fact that you dislike her is all the more comforting Charlie. She's a less abusive Sarah Silverman, who also happens to be one of my favorite comedianesses.

I am just kind of confused, since I LOVE Sarah Silverman, her standup and TV show. I can't see any line between them other than both being attractive female stand ups.

#22

Ravenpoe

Why would you want Sarah Silverman to be less abusive?

Second show of the season bites the dust:

Never bothered, didn't appeal to me in the least.

@Ravenpoe - I never said I wanted her to be, she just never would have had a chance to work on network TV>

Roll around his mansion on his trillions of Simpsons dollars.

Considering the Simpsons is currently in contract disputes, that might not be for much longer. FOX wants all the talent to take a 46% paycut because ratings are down 14%. Cast says they'll do 36%, but only if they get more points in the merchandising. Considering that the Simpsons merchandise isn't doing too hot right now ether, I think FOX is being stubborn by refusing the deal... but then again, they might simply be looking for an excuse to dump the show.

But then again, it's still the lynchpin of their Sunday nights. Even a bad episode of The Simpsons is still better than a good episode of Family Guy, American Dad, or The Cleveland Show (and I LIKE all those shows). I don't even know if Bob's Burgers got a second season... and this new show about the smart ass kid looks really bad.

I'm pretty sure people only watch Fox for two things, sports and the Simpsons.

Also, wasn't their supposed to be a Napoleon Dynamite animated series on Fox? I know they advertised it ont he actual channel.

Well, taking a paycut now doesn't negate the 15 years or so the cast has been making multimillions each season.

Unless they've been spending like rockstars.

Nancy gave millions to Xenu and Tom Cruise. Not sure about the rest.

Going to go back to playing the lecherous friend on Herman's Head. Maybe Yeardley Smith can get back on, too, as "annoying squeaky coworker" again.

oh, and the highest-rated-show-on-Television, a little thing called American Idol, you might have heard of it

Jesus, how is Big Bang Theory so popular? I remember reading someone's comment somewhere that called it geek black face. Fucking apt.

So now's NOT a good time to come back to the TV watching world? Gotcha.

I'll stick with my dvd seasons of Firefly, Dollhouse, DS9 and watch episodes of Whitney on download.

There are good shows right now; we're just not talking about them. If you have Showtime I recommend checking out Homeland. That's just one example, too.

TV is great right now on cable and shit. I just have no clue what to recommend since you don't like Breaking Bad.

I don't know if Awake is going to be good. The trailer is amazing but my friend pointed out that it kind of gives you everything you need.
