There is always hostility towards new people who join and immediately begin bashing everyone and everything. You haven't shown any willingness to join in; your behavior is troll-like, hence your responses. I noticed in that thread where you listed your interests in film and literature, you got an actual discussion in return. I think you're a smart guy who's either a textbook example of John Gabriel's Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory, or you're amusing yourself by making people think you are. Either way, I've seen enough of you to think you could be a cool addition to the forum, once you stop believing (or acting as if you believe) that you are better than everyone else here.

In other words, I'd like to be on your side, but it's impossible when you're constantly sabotaging your chances of people wanting to get to know you.

We are a diverse group of people and as a forum I don't believe we collectively hold any preconceived notions.

What preconceived notions have you challenged exactly? You challenged people talking about sex, but that's not a preconceived notion, that's opinion and storytelling.
You challenged Chaz on his use of memes and his calling you a virgin, but that's just his own way of treating you like you're a fun toy to play with. It's not a preconceived notion, it's BAIT.
