But he's the least racist person you'll ever meet. But all black people know each other, he won't rent to black people, black people are "lazy", a judge can't be trusted because he's Mexican, he has a black friend, and we need to ban all Muslims because they are terrorists.

Perfectly reasonable considering the rest of the people around him.

Going back to the question about the CBC, setting aside the racism, donnie just explined that the reason nothing had been done on the matter is that they are not returning his phone calls.

Let that sink in, regardless of its a lie or not he wants us to believe that when the GODDAMN PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED FUCKING STATES OF AMERICA calls, people let it go to voice mail.

Weirdly, I don't see a problem with this.

I guess I've already accepted thatour actual police forces (at least the larger ones) have militarized some of their people, like those SWAT teams and such, and the cops performing "raids" and protest busting patrol are decked out like soldiers already.

And it actually seems reasonable to me to put these people to use doing more than spitshining their boots.

Canada has use its military people as extra hands in internal matters at times, too, though not for anything so trivial as rounding up immigrants. We get them to shovel snow off Toronto's driveways.

This will cause more problems than Trump, DHS, or most people in general realize between detainment spacing, court application, and cost; that's ignoring all the civil issues to bleed through those.
