Former President and Convicted Felon Trump Thread

BREAKING NEWS: President Trump revealing himself to be the antichrist bent on the eternal damnation of all mankind does not seem to have impacted his poll numbers. Jerry Falwell Jr is quoted as saying "look, we don't agree on everything, but you have to admire his passion. Not to mention, do you want me to vote for that mysterious Palestinian guy running against him? I believe as Jesus Christ has said, you have to turn the other cheek."

Well, that was a fine how do you do. Macron invited the Iranian Foreign Minister to the G7 meeting for a cup of tea. Naturally cheeto was surprised and didn't know how to react. Sadly Macron gave him advanced warning of it.

Business Insider headline: Trump's aides are reportedly seething over the French president's handling of the G7 summit

According to the article they think the summit intentionally focused on "niche issues" in order to annoy Trump, and avoid discussion of economic issues.

The "niche issues" that are getting attention? Climate change, income and gender inequality, and African development. AKA, huge issues that are going to shape the global economy for the foreseeable future.

You'd think Marcon is intentionally trying to goad Trump into having a stroke.

(One can only hope.)

That thing is going viral and it's glorious. Even though I know it's just a moment in time and not likely what the picture LOOKS like, it's get under Donnie's skin so far it'll be permanently orange.

Cheeto also insisted that Russia be allowed back in.
Didn't they agree to restore Russia's voting right in the council of Europe in June? I think this is simply a matter of time. The world will adjust to new realities, and that may include Russian control of the Crimea.

Russia got the worst out of that deal anyway. Lots of the workforce fled to Ukraine, which accepted it's citizens, resulting in a diminished workforce. This also left someone like 300k+ elderly people who had to be added to Russia's pension system, which is costing them a fortune they can't really afford.

I don't know if the people of Crimeea (and eastern Ukraine) agree with you... that shit show will go on for however long Russia can keep it up, see: Transnistria.

It was kind of a shitshow before; Ukraine isn't exactly a "better" government than Russia (It thrives on the same kinds of organized crime and grift). It's just the lesser of two evils in this case.

Someone's not familiar with Transnistria, i see.

Then again that's more true of eastern Ukraine, since Crimeea has those naval bases Russia wants, so they'll likely try to keep it less lawless.

I think most of the other heads of state just ignore Trump now. It is just too much of a hassle. Since he adopted the "America First" doctrine,
it is just useless to try and do any kind of diplomacy with him. Better to talk to the regular American delegations and diplomats.

Also, you wont have an edited version of what should have been a confidential talk on twitter as soon as you turn your back.

Nothing inherently wrong with "America First and Fuck the Rest" - I mean, I strongly disagree and I think it's not in America's best interests in the long run, but plenty of political views are like that - but the problem all of us foreigners have with him is his word simply isn't worth anything. Trump's proclaimedthings too often only to reverse course less than 24 hours later under right wing media (or other) pressure. Make a deal with T, make concessions....Get nothing in return. That may work in some businesses, but it sure doesn't work in politics.

Defend THIS one, motherfucker.
Well, see, back in the good old days of 1940-1941 a big ship full of Jews arrived in the USA, and was refused entry. However, a few severely ill passengers were allowed to enter the USA. This is an attempt to finally do better than before and surpass the inhumanities still being talked about 60 years later.

*Cough*80*cough*

=sigh=

cheeto spikes the market, then fakes a call from China to recoup the market, sets up overturning the 14th ammendment, insults PR, fails at the G7, and today just used white nationalist imagery on campaign data

It just so fucking embarrassing, the level of stupidity displayed by his entire team.

The problem is, it would be one thing if he actually held that view. Or any views, outside of just racist fleets of fancy. But he's an idiot who doesn't know how anything works and has no true convictions outside of what he thinks will profit himself, and he's not even really good at that, so he parrots back whatever he thinks he should in the moment and has no concept of other things he's said or will say.
