Games to play?

So I was just remembering how much I enjoyed playing Portal 2 and how I really got sucked into the game, but that was a while ago.

I want to play some games that get me sucked in like that. Any recommendations? I haven't played many new games, since... like... years. The 2 most recent games I've played are Portal 2 and Skyrim. Before that--- uhhhhmmm.. I don't know.

If platformers piss you off though, don't get it. Because God knows there are times when I spend 15 minutes missing the same little object to land on and getting hella pissed.

If you have a PS3, Heavy Rain is one hell of a ride.
