TMZ is reporting Gary Shandling's death. Other outlets have picked up their report, but so far it is unconfirmed.

Edit: Sadly, is definitely now confirmed. So far no listed cause of death, but with how sudden it was and reports of calls for a "medical emergency" I am guessing it was a heart attack.

Still remember most of the theme song to The Gary Shandling Show.
