Matt Damon – InvictusWas Christoph Waltz the guy who played Hanz Landa?
If so, I'd like to know who the other nominees were, because I'm struggling to see how it could even be a contest.
Damon for Invictus, Harrelson for Messenger, Tucci for Lovely Bones (lol), Plummer for Last StationWas Christoph Waltz the guy who played Hanz Landa?

Showtime throws a lot of money at the Foreign Press, what can I say? Although, I haven't seen said TV show._Actress, Musical or Comedy: Toni Collette, "United States of Tara."
Really?
The Golden Globes are much more of a popularity/biggest box office contest. A Serious Man was a much better movie.

A Serious Man was a dramedy/black comedy? I mean there were funny parts to it.I'll give you that. Hangover was more accurately a comedy. It was kind of weird that Serious Man was in that category instead of Drama. I'd still be raging over it losing to Avatar either way!
The honest answer is: whichever category the studio thinks it has a better shot at winning.
Just bought The Hurt Locker on Bluray and watched it last night. If it's the Best Picture of the Year, this year was really shitty for movies.Yeah, ASM should have been drama although I understand WHY it's in comedy. Oh yeah, and it should have won. Best picture of the year I have seen (I haven't seen The Hurt Locker yet, I hear that might change my mind).
ffffffffffffffffffffffWait Caddyshack was a comedy why were they categorizing it as a drama?
