And, with that, I'm going to take a short break of maybe a week or so. I'm kinda burnt out for the moment. I'm gonna work on some way for me to reduce reposts of common characters. It's getting real hard for me to keep track of the dozens of Ivys, Harleys, Jokers, Phoenixes, etc.

I leave you with galleries of cosplay at Tokyo Game Show from Joystiq and Kotaku: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3

I always marvel at how lame the Flash's rogues gallery is.
Yup, it's pretty bad. At least he's got some good villains: The Black Flash, The Shade (well, he's got style in JLU, I haven't seen him in comics), and despite being a lame concept, Gorilla Grodd has actually worked in practice on more than one occasion. Actually, now that I think of it, Flash has a way of making blah villains into pretty good stories. Flash vs Ultra-Humanite in the JLU episode "Comfort and Joy" is awesome, despite the campiness.

Whaaaaa?! Flash has an awesome rogue's gallery. Weather Wizard! Captain Cold! Reverse Flash/Professor Zoom! Gorilla Grodd! Mirror Master! Heat Wave! Dr. Alchemy! Abra Kadabra! Inertia! Clearly you guys haven't read some of the recent material about these guys. I would put his rogues in the top 5, after Batman and Spider-Man.

Though they've been revamped quite a bit lately, they're still lame :p

They've even made a joke of it for many years now in the comic books. And you forgot Captain Boomerang (even though he's dead)

Except for Mirror Master, I love me some Mirror Master.

Didn't Captain Boomerang kill a guy in prison using a banana from the cafeteria? I gotta say, that's pretty bad ass.

You guys are nuts. The Flash has the best rogues in the biz. I always loved how there's a little corny respect between Flash and his baddies, which they even added to the JL and JLU cartoons.

Best Flash scene EVER.

I'm not really up on Flash's villains, but are there any of them that can't be defeated by Flash running really fast and then punching them?
Considering the Flash beat up Brainiac and Luthor fused into a single being (who had been owning everyone else in the Justice League) by running really fast and punching him repeatedly, I'd say this is a silly question. There isn't anyone he can't beat this way.

Yeah, he wasn't breaking anything, he went so fast he was being coerced into the Speed Force. It took most of the JLA core to pull him out and he finished the show with "I don't think I can ever go that fast again" or something like that.

Also, FYI, I didn't say that Flash's rogue's gallery being lame was a bad thing, but yes, they are lame.

It gives him a completely different dynamic with his villains than any other hero in the DCU.

which is a good thing.
