This is kinda interesting. Since he was fired by enacting "no-cause" clause (basically they can fire you just cause) it is hard NOT to tie to his wife's profession. I mean it was fire after the information was discovered and the council had emergency meeting.
Even the guy performance review was good and he is generally well like guy... I mean what else would they fire him?
