Nick's 2024 recap:

-Became single again, which sucked but was necessary.
-Lost about 25 pounds and managed to keep it off.
-Did my first bikepacking tour.
-Became a marshal for #KidicalMass.
-Won an award at work.
-Got a promotion at work.
-Started writing again.

When the year started with the breakup, I genuinely thought this would be a shit year. To be fair, depression showed up more often than I would have liked.

But overall? 2024 was a surprisingly good year for me.
I think writing again was my biggest thing.

Hopefully I can make 2025 even better.

Things I'd like to see in 2025 for myself:

-Finish the new novel I started working on.
-Do more bikepacking trips, maybe a redo of Graves Island on Victoria Day weekend.
-Find some poor sucker, er, lucky lady to date me.
-Lose a little more weight. For the rest of winter, I might join a gym.
