Thanksgiving was LAST month, slowpokes.
My mom is American, so we often used to do TWO thanksgiving dinners - one at my dad's family's in October, and another at home with just the immediate fam in November. It was great.

My contribution to “friendsgiving” is stuffed mushrooms, and it’s the first time I gave them a try. Not to brag but I kinda just want to stay home and eat them all :awesome:

Evidently, when you live alone, Thanksgiving lasts 21 minutes.

Is that a deer feeder in the background? Or a mosquito eater?

Just me here, so no big spread. Gonna go treat myself to a McRib combo in a few minutes.

EDIT: Or not. McD's locator site lied to me. Said they were open when they're not.

Deer feeder. Later some deer actually did come by.

It's been a VERY Texan thanksgiving.

Now I'm annoyed. No McRib? Fine. DoorDash says Subway is open.

Error validating basket.

Grrrr.

Pffft, you know I don't wear boots. Or blue jeans.

What? They look sturdy enough for frying a turkey.

Every year the best burger joint in town does a Planes, Trains and Automobiles burger. It's a turkey patty made with turkey and stuffing, fried chicken skin, gravy and cranberry aoili. This year they added an extra box to our order labeled special treat.

Happy Thanksgiving!

This is the actual burger. It's so GD delicious. I'm glad it's only once a year otherwise I would be heavier and poorer from all the burgers I cram down my maw.

That reminds me of the Luther Burger from The Boondocks.
