Gillis wants to keep his job. Special teams have been atrocious for two seasons now so hopefully a new staff can do something about that. If they can hire Tippit that'd be all right.

You know, Canucks fans are getting to be almost as bad as Leafs fans...

I would dread the day there was a Canucks-Leafs finals. The world would end before game seven was over.

Um, Toronto fans had several huge outdoor rallies and events during their play off series with the Bruins.

All of them ended peacefully.

He inherited a great team in his rookie year as coach (he's also the owner of the team) and won the Memorial Cup. After that, well... mostly horrible nepotism, terrible teams, unprofessional behaviour and more antics.

Part of me regrets saying there'd be a combo bonus for correctly predicting both winner and number of games. But really, its doing exactly what it was intended and making the points race a lot closer than last year, giving the people behind a chance to catch up.

jwhouk has a pretty commanding lead right now though.

standings right now... basically a fight for second place as jwhouk is on a roll. everyone else is within a few poi ts of eachother. however if the Sharks take game seven I get a healthy bump in the standings.
