I've gone to from being a huge Kevin Smith fan to more of a casual observer. I feel like Clerks 2 really burst the bubble for me. I was just so disappointed by it. Zack and Miri had it's moments, and I thought JaSBSB was more good than bad, but not by a lot. I feel like the last film where he was really firing on all cylinders, both with the great dialogue and creative ideas, was Dogma, which remains one of my favorite movies. I also admit I haven't had a chance to see Red State yet, so I don't know how he does with the horror genre. Maybe I'm just bias, but it feels like the signature Smith dialogue, which is really why people loved his movies, diminished once he moved out to California.
Didn't he have a hockey comedy coming out called "Hit Something"? I feel like I'm really out of the loop.
