I thought the "obvious racism" was referring to him asking how to speak "mexican". IE, it implies that Obama is racist.
Ah, now I get it. I'm so smart...

[/QUOTE]

That's just how I read it, I have no idea how the OP intended it.[/QUOTE]

Like that.

Guy somehow out-crazies Jehova's Witnesses

Lazy labeling? Sure why not (also see immigration chart in OP again for how much of a clusterfuck immigration is)

that's not racist, that's ignorance. In fact, it's pretty much a Bushism: assuming the language of someone from Mexico, is Mexican.

That's a phrase that's used sarcastically to refer to another race that you don't think highly of. I should know I have to put up with it and various similar things like it from my dad every god damn day. The cartoonist is being racist.

In other news, teachers hate America.

Wait, I'm a little confused with that one. Isn't wearing the American flag as an item of clothing ostensibly supposed to be disrespectful? And what the hell does affordability have to do with anything?

When did Mexico become a race? Was this the same time rice became a race? I never get any of the memos.

So mocking someone by showing him to be ignorant makes the author a racist?

Also Drifter the comic is mocking the people getting upset when a group of students wore clothing with the American Flags on them during Cinco De Mayo. Because it "was offensive to Hispanics."

Yes, wearing an actual flag as an article of clothing is disrespectful to the flag. Wearing an article of clothing with an American flag pattern on it is merely tacky.

It is against the Flag Code:

The flag should never be used for any advertising purpose. It should not be embroidered, printed, or otherwise impressed on such articles as cushions, handkerchiefs, napkins, boxes, or anything intended to be discarded after temporary use. Advertising signs should not be attached to the staff or halyard.
The flag should not be used as part of a costume or athletic uniform, except that a flag patch may be used on the uniform of military personnel, firefighters, police officers, and members of patriotic organizations.
Not that anyone gives a shit about the flag code....

members of patriotic organizations.
You could argue that by being a citizen of the united states, you're a member of a patriotic organization.

It'd be dumb, but you could argue it.

Ohhh, okay. Also, meh.

Calling bullshit on political cartoons is kind of like trying to find a monkey in a barrel of monkeys. If you need a challenge go try and analyze Mary Worth. That stuff is DEEP.
