I thought I was pretty hot stuff and this game put me in my place. It gets difficult really fast. 300 points was my embarrassingly low score.

Russian or Ukrainian? ... I thought Ukrainian -was- Russian...

800. I took Russian in college, which was a big help on this. If I wasn't careless early on, I might have gone a couple more before losing.

Wow--that was hard. I got 800.

So far my worst score has been 200. Cantonese vs. Mandarin?!? I'm lucky I recognized it was Chinese.

Got to 400. Some were lucky guesses. I have no idea what Northern Nbelese is.

You know, it's like Nbelese.

I don't think I've heard of most of those languages. Half my guesses were based on what I knew it wasn't.

The first round I didn't even get past 200.. All of them were languages in countries I've never even heard of.

Second round I got to 550. I can distinguish most Western European languages as well as quite a few Asian ones, but when all the multiple choice answers are languages I've never heard of, it gets hard quite fast

Tried again. Got 400. Several were lucky guesses.

Living abroad helped me out a lot here. Plus, it helps to listen to the accents of the language to help nail them down.

I keep second guessing myself. My highest so far is 900. I did much better once everyone was asleep.

Been playing it here at work, no speakers so no sound - purely guesswork. Got up to 200 so far

300 here. Only missed three, though.

That's all you can miss; you have three mistakes before the game ends, otherwise it keeps going.

450 now. Some are easy, some are hard, many work only by exclusion.

Yeeeeesh. Lotta process of elimination. 450 was my best. Some of them are fuzzy and hard to hear.
