How is everyone's friday going?

Fairly dull and uneventful today because mostly I have everything planned for Saturday going to be nice so I'm going fishing.
Busy at work as usual, but I'm in a good mood for no apparent reason. Not sure what's in store for the weekend, but I don't work till Tuesday so I am definitely sleeping in as much as I can. I'm hoping for a little pub action, and at some point I want some fucking pizza.
Nerd girls make me laugh. I had two of them swarm me at the movie store after work. I was standing at the PS3 rental section and both of them (Employees) were standing on either side of me helping me choose what to play. Then we got into a lengthy discussion about Liam Neeson's propensity for dying in movies. One of them brought up Taken as a counter-example, and I pointed out that even in movie's where he only plays the voice, his character dies.
Then we got into a debate on whether or not the Lazarus pits for Ra's al Gul would show up in the Batman movies.
Talk about service!
Meanwhile the lineup at the counter got larger.

Went to Felini's for a slice of Hawaiian pizza and a pint of Stella with the roomate. Talked games and ways to get out and meet some people. Feeling good about this weekend and life in general right now for the first time in awhile.CynicismKills said:

Ghosts don't exist, but on the other hand, all of the creepy of Shego is concentrated in one Shego, whereas, if they exist, there are probably lots of ghosts, spreading the creep around a bit. Eh.
Anyway, just worked the night friday-saturday. Didn't get much done yesterday, won't get anything done today, have to go visit my grandmother tomorrow and work the nights again after that for a while, which quite heavily interferes with my current interests and plans. Since, you know, she only comes on line in the evenings *cough*. Still, in general somewhat more happy with life than before.
Had a date tonight with a gal that a mutual friend introduced me to. Really great gal, we got along pretty good. Had lunch/supper, followed by seeing District 9. I walked her to the subway (I was biking home) and we hugged. Felt like there might be a chance for a kiss, but didn't feel like the right moment.
Sucks that she's heading back to Britain at the end of the month. She's from here, originally, but she's teaching over there, right now. MIGHT be back for good in January.

Friday ended with me aparently just going to bed at around 7 last night. I meant to just take a quick nap and ended up sleeping until now (almost 4am). I think I only woke up because my roommate seems to be gone and so neither one of us turned the AC back on.
I wonder if I'm sick or something. Seems weird I would sleep so long after a day of not doing anything.
