I would love to be able to re-experience the intro to Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl again for the first time - the part where Captain Sparrow is standing on the crow's nest, before you find out that his boat is sinking. It will always be funny, but it will never be as funny as it was the first time.

Oh God, Blazing Saddles. No contest. To enjoy the shock and awe of Brooks at his best again would be wonderful.

Her. Even if nothing changes about how it goes.. I'd want that whole new feeling again.

I have no need to forget Star Wars. I would very much like to forget the Phantom Menace, though.
But what I would like to forget and do over again is discovering Rush in my mother's vinyl collection. I think the first album that I listened to was Permanent Waves, and the song that hooked me was Natural Science. The best part of that was that I could then go backwards in time through all their prog stuff (although for some reason she didn't have 2112.)

Winning a 'Best of Show' for my art. I don't consider myself gifted by any means and any 'competition' I entered I did because my teachers told me to, not because I thought I would ever win anything.
They had a show of everyone's work all hung up at a historic mansion and so I went with my family to go look and was floored when I saw the best of show ribbon by my painting. That would be pretty cool to experience again because something like that will never happen again. =^^=

Halforums. Then I could have the pleasure of "Meeting" all of you great people again.
Perhaps some food that my first sample of was cooked improperly.

So if I understand this right, the stipulation is we forget it so we can experience it again for the first time?
Ooh, tough call. I've got plenty I'd like to forget and never remember/experience again... but what would I like to experience again "for the first time?"
I'm not sure.

None of it. The rollercoaster that is my life has got me where I am today, every victory, every loss, joyous occasion and depression has been earned. The only way I know how to go on today is by understanding what I've gone through already - and knowing that I have the capacity to keep marching on.
That said, I would kill to watch Moulin Rouge again with virgin eyes.

Rome. I would love to go back there and experience it all again, but hopefully this time not with the flu/upper respiratory infection.

Pizza, to experience pizza for the first time again would be MAGIC!

I would like to remove all memory of gelato, so I could re-experience that first magical taste once more.
I still remember that first sample of true Italian gelato. It was in Rome. The gelato was chocolate flavored.

For a happy thing I think seeing the Northern Lights for the first time was breathtaking and it's something I would love to be able to do again and share with my family.
If we are talking changing one thing then I wish I had forgotten to call that person who used to be my friend. She was mean, cruel, verbally abusive and used me even after everything I did for her. I put up with it because of her sob story. Well screw that, I could have lived quite happily without her.
