Yep, as far as pretty boy vampires go, I'm now an Edward fan.

I truly hope he can help rid the world of vampires with a cure.

OH! Sorry. I was talking about DAYBREAKERS, one of the best damn vampire movies I've seen since...well, I've never really been a big fan of vampires in general, so let's just say one of the best damn vampire movies I've seen in a VERY long time.

Fuck you, preteen girls. These vampires require you to bring marshmellows in sunlight, not sunglasses.

It's more like a joke about how a self absorbed high school girl has to choose between the guy she wants to be with, but who treats her like shit and is the cause of all the problems in her life, and the multitude of other, well adjusted guys who actually care about her, but she takes advantage of and then insults behind their backs. OH WAIT, THAT'S THE PLOT OF THE SERIES.

Because it reinforces the idea that when the person you love is abusive and/or hateful to you, or even just rejects you, it means that they really actually love you back, and taking advantage of nice guys is okay, because they're really only there to support you while you fail to get back the asshole who hates you.
