... so can I get some suggestions for a PDF reader that's speedier and less resource intensive? Because seriously... fuck Adobe Acrobat.

There's also Sumatra, if you want to go really minimal.

Mac OS X.

(I'm playing, but seriously, PDFs are awesome on Macs because the whole Quartz display system essentially renders the screen as a PDF and displays it. They used to explain this on the website until Macs grew in popularity and they nerfed the site.)

I use Skim on the Mac, and Foxit for Windows.
