I think their the same characters. It's also a reference to Yoshimitsu Banno, my favorite Godzilla Director. He did Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster.

Even though they're..basically the same, I don't think they're meant to be the same character. Meh, regardless, I've never played Tekken, so I only associate him with Soul Calibur (both Namco though.)

Didn't read all of it yet, truthfully. I Googled your name and then scanned your stuff for something I thought would fit as an avatar, then cleaned up the panel lines so it didn't look like the edges were dirty.
