Uh, sure.

That's why I love this city. Everything is within walking distance.
Though I did hate standing in the H1N1 shot line for an hour and a half. Outside. In a slight drizzle. In the cold. Without longjohns. But with hairy legs
#7
Simfers
Two hours of jiu jitsu followed by an hour walk to do the groceries.
So bump.

ElJuski
I'm not talking "getting up to get a bag of chips" or "masturbated" physical activity. You had to break a sweat.
If this thread was made earlier in the year I could keep this badboy standing for months on end. Too bad I'm about to hopefully go on a week(s) long vacation, oh wait thats not too bad at all, screw this thread.

I've hit the gym every night I've lived in NC save the last two nights. We really gonna do this? 'cause I'll bring my A game.

Just got back from walking around the louisiana ren fair. FUCK YOU
Why do they always have that Birch Beer seller at Ren faires? I always wondered that. I mean at Civil War Re-enactments it makes sense. But just slapping on a "Dragons Breath" label and selling birch beer? It's just historically inaccurate.

Physical labor at work - thread bumped!

I walked for almost an hour today... But I didin't sweat! I usually do, but today it was too cold for that!
I could bump this every freaking day, but it's too physically demanding.
No, seriously. I work out every day. At the very least now, I jog home from work. And work is a physical slog, too.
#28
Hylian
I didn't sweat but I did vacuumed the house and I did the dishes.
#29
Reboneer
I broke a sweat sitting here doing nothing. Thanks for reminding me to turn on the air-con.
#30
Espy
Unpacked about 9 boxes of books, put together bookcases, did about 7 trash runs, spent some quality time with the wife... so yeah. I broke a sweat MOFO.
#31
Bowielee
I changed my own oil today?
#32
rabbitgod
I had a beer tasting today, while we had the fun of tasting we made some beer. So there was some mild heavy lifting involved.
Check in tomorrow where I'll actually have done some physical work.

Swept the back porch, assembled and placed a new lighting system for the back yard, cleaned up after the dogs, moved in rented tables and chairs for a party tomorrow, disposed of an old bathroom sink and shelf unit, installed the new sink and shelf, replaced the wax ring under the toilet, painted the bathroom, laid down new tile, and got a haircut.
It was a busy day.

Some walking, then some sex. That's about the extent of my physical activity since I got sick. Haven't been able to do my morning runs or my afternoon workouts. rly:
Well, I spent about 10 hours cooking for some friends, and I definitely broke a sweat doing that (and spent the vast majority of that 10 hours not sitting at the gaming table) so yeah, I'll bump the thread.

Digging in the garden - One bump

Did a walking tour of the campus that my daughter is considering, for about 3 hours.
I couldn't tell from the weird ass facebook status update she had earlier. It was much discussed.[/QUOTE]
Oh yes. I Rickroll'd her after sex. It was too perfect.

I have figured out how not to sweat. Most of the time, if I'm doing hard work, I sweat from being too warm, not the strenuous activity. So if I'm walking somewhere, I wear my coat as long as I'm cold, but as soon as I get my body temp up, off the coat comes.
Of course, then it ends up that I'm working in a t-shirt and jeans at the city dump in the middle of a gail, wrestling scrap metal from the truck, but it keeps me smelling fine.
You might want to check the calorie gauge on the stairmaster because there's no way you burend 1050 calories in an hour. Full on boxing matches burn 1000 calories in an hour.
Unless it was full contact stairmaster! Hmmm..
#52
Gusto
Work again, more of the same. This time it involved lifting heavy boxes literally right over my head.
#53
Hylian
I went for a couple mile walk today
#54
Allen, who is Quiet
moved a bunch of furniture up and down stairs.
#55
rabbitgod
Played basketball for almost 2 hours today.
#56
Kitty Sinatra
Watched a bunch of football.
But that's not why I'm posting. I'm about to take a 2 hour nap, and when I wake up I'll be heading off to a long night of physical, sweat-inducing, rushing around.
#57
Troll
I'm currently posting from my university library. In order to get here one must climb around 7,322 flights of stairs. I did it while carrying about 40 pounds of books, papers, and my laptop.

Just took out the trash in the perfect, 60-degree rain.

/shrug I enter my numbers, and that's what it tells me. It may or may not be true. I am however *quite* large, so I am moving a good deal of mass and I go pretty hard. But, who really knows!

Oh... well, hmm maybe? I thought you were another tiny little thing like the other halforum ladies. At 230lb, even I have a hard time killing 1000 calories in an hour.

Babbysitting and sipping tea.

Just came back from playing some ice hockey. *bump*
I walk my dog twice a day, sometimes we run together. Well I run and he kind of jogs and looks back at me impatiently.
So it should come as no surpise that I'm not going to post everytime I do that. Let's all assume that there is a standing order for it.
#81
Gusto
Walked thrice as far as I really needed to in order to catch the bus this morning.
#82
The Lovely Boehner
I forgot to add that yesterday after having chocolate cake at the company birthday party (oh god I live in "The Office"), I sprinted up and down the stairs when I was taking stuff to people
#83

gentlemen I believe this thread has already hit the second page; therefore your entries are NULL AND VOID MUAHAHAHAHAHA
/only sweat the first day of this thread
#84
Gusto
Has it?
#85

I forgot to bump the thread the last couple of days :tear:
#86

Was the intent to see how long the thread lasts on its first page, or on the first page of the forum?
With what I assume is the standard settings for the forum, I can't imagine this thread was ever off of the first page. Even if my last post was the last post, it couldn't have gotten off of the front page of the forum yet.
Also, 6 miles since last post.
#87

I'm too lazy to maintain posting here but here's another bump.
#88

I do at least 30 pushups before showering every morning, but that obviously doesn't make me break out in sweat, it's an anaerobic exercise, even. So should I bump every morning?
That sounded dirty.
#89
evilmike
30 miles since last post.
#90
Gurpel
walked 8 clicks, to the mall and back home (for headphones. they suck :[ ) and then back again, to get swine flu medicine.

Does having to park several parking lots away and then taking twenty minutes to get to class five minutes late and huffing and puffing count?
Coughing has actually made my belly muscles sore. I'm freaking counting it.

Bump. Another 24.

Cut wood again. One hour.

Played drums for about an hour today, mainly practicing covers of some Devildriver stuff (so yeah, large amount of physical activity).
#101
Gusto
Going out for a night of drinking dancing and merrymaking.
Preemptive bump.

Today I started BEAST class- Brevard Escape And Survival Training. So today, I lugged myself around on the ground and through obstacles in full bunker gear and an airpack. I did pretty darned well.... except in the (relatively easy) confined space. I hateses confined space my precioussss.....
#107

It was only about 20 minutes, but I trucked it across downtown to make it to a meeting at the Louisiana State Museum. And I'm about to do some free weights.

Foof! Day 3 of BEAST. Today we did RIT drills (Rapid Intervention Team) where you work past various obstacles to find and assist a downed fireman. We made it under two leanto shaped low profile objects. We also did the Denver drill (this one was a BITCH) where you clamber in a window that is 16x30 and is 4 @#$%$% feet off the ground into a VERY small room to lift a downed fireman out the window. Then we did the Pittsburgh drill where you navigate several more low profile obstacles (one is a 16x20 inch hole that you have to go in with bunker gear and an airpack- about 50 extra pounds of gear), find the downed fireman, get THEIR unconscious ass through the obstacles and exit your team.
